The Process
The construction process consists of 5 phases.
Here is a breakdown that summarizes the process:

LAYOUT AND STEEL
Layout pool design in backyard, excavation – dig out pool (usually done in one day), frame out pool with reinforcing steel, and call for inspections.

DECK
Prepare yard for pool deck installation.
Final grading will be completed and construction site will be ready for sprinklers and landscaping.

GUNITE
Gunite is applied to the pool to form the shell of the pool.

ELECTRICAL/BARRIER INSTALL
Install pool equipment, install electrical.
Call for electrical and barrier inspection. Complete safety features and call for final inspections.

PLUMBING / TILE
Strip form wood and backfill for plumbing, dig plumbing trench, install plumbing, and call for inspection.
Then water proof backfill plumbing and install pool coping and tile.
